360....Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2...Then Again Maybe Not?

So me and video games go back a long way dating back to my 3rd birthday when my parents got me a shiny, brand new Sega Genesis w/Sonic the Hedgehog. My interest in video games probably topped out between ages 14-17 when I got really into collecting older systems and games. Around 17 when I got my car, my money was going to OPEC instead of further building my collection. About 3 months ago, I got the bug to get myself a 360 and get back on xbox live. For the past month, I've had a pretty bad addiction to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2... When you are home on winter break laying around broke with nothing to do, seems like a good idea. Right? Who cares, I'd wake up, lay around for 4-5 hours at a time and veg out. The only thing that would get me away is food or family. >_>
Long story short, my 360 has now crapped out twice in the 3 months since I bought it as a refurb from an ebay retailer. Can't get my fix currently as a week after I get back to school, same goddamn problem, GPU(graphics processor) is crapping out. End up with lines and distortion about 5 minutes into a game. So i'm currently awaiting what will be my 3rd xbox 360 and I will be out of warranty so if it breaks, i'm screwed. I don't know whether to blame the company that sold me the refurb or Microsoft. The way 360s are, Microsoft should build auto transmissions, you never know if they are gonna last a few hours or a few years....
